Fathom resembles a large whale with three visible blue fins and a white and sky-blue underside. It has pink eyes and a pink tail. Its head is a lighter shade of blue than its body. It also has pink "bumps" on its back.

- Fathom is a form of measurement used in the water, equating to 6 feet.
- There is a Morph Marble for Fathom which can only be obtained only during Summerfest from the Wheel of Sun.
- It has some species-specific names as a bounty pet.
- According to the Fathom Beanbag's description, Fathom is the largest pet in the Prodigy world.
- The Morph Marble of this pet was also given out as a compensation gift due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- An Arena challenger, Djinna, had this pet.
- Both the new and old sprites look similar.
